The Central Coast Climate Collaborative (4C) is excited to invite you to the 2026 Central Coast Regional Climate Resilience Symposium, taking place December 9th at The Grove Event Center in Santa Cruz, CA, to join hand-in-hand with hundreds of Central Coast leaders in reflecting on our region’s climate resilience progress and shaping our shared path ahead!

The Symposium aims to gather climate resilience leaders, practitioners, and partners working across California’s 6-county Central Coast region to exchange knowledge, deepen relationships, and collaboratively surface shared regional priorities. Participants will learn about replicable strategies and projects, engage in interactive and exploratory sessions, and walk away with new ideas and connections to apply to their own climate initiatives.

Symposium Goals

The 2026 Central Coast Regional Climate Resilience Symposium aims to serve as the premier region-wide gathering for the Central Coast’s diverse and growing ecosystem of climate resilience thought leaders, changemakers, implementers, advocates, practitioners, and partners. Through this one-day gathering, we hope to meaningfully move the needle for our region to be better connected, aligned, and positioned to advance our shared climate resilience priorities.

A highly interactive program featuring the following key topics is currently under development:

• Replicable implementation projects for wildfire resilience, sea level rise adaptation, energy resilience, agriculture, and more
• An exploration of infrastructure needed to accelerate implementation, including workforce development, monitoring and evaluation, and cross-sector coordination
• Funding pathways to implement priority climate resilience projects
• Central Coast advocacy priorities for the new State administration
• The newly launching $3M Central Coast Community Resilience Hub Accelerator program
• And more!

The Symposium is designed for local governments, public agencies, Tribes, Indigenous-led organizations, community-based organizations, nonprofits, academic and research institutions, consultants, businesses, and other partners serving communities across the Central Coast, which encompasses the following counties (from north to south): Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. We also welcome State agencies, funders, and other organizations interested in learning more about the Central Coasts’ climate resilience initiatives and priorities to participate.
